Amiigo, a team of Utah-based entrepreneurs, is looking to add a little style and flair to its popular Bluetooth, low-energy fitness tracking bracelet and shoe-clip. They’ve unveiled three new color options for the bracelet: purple, pink and black. But, there’s a catch! The two colors with the most votes will go into production only if Amiigo hits its $350K goal on Indiegogo

“Our supporters and fans are making our dream a reality. So, we came up with an idea to give back by listening to the consumer because we value their opinions,” says Dave Scott, co-founder of Amiigo. “Not only will Amiigo help you stay fit- the new colors will also help you stay stylish!”
The sweat-proof bracelet and shoe-clip personalizes a workout by recognizing more than 100 exercises and recording the body’s physiological responses. This information helps the fitness enthusiast customize their workout to make the most out of their time in the gym.
Using accelerometers and machine-learning algorithms, Amiigo recognizes more than 100 exercises. It can tell if you’re running, using the elliptical, pumping out curls and more. Sensors in the bracelet track upper body movements whereas sensors in the shoe-clip track lower body movements. Together, it records your entire workout via Bluetooth with the Amiigo app on an iOS or Android device.
