DoYouRemember is the first social website ( www.DoYouRemember.com ) and series of mobile apps created to bring together people who are passionate about nostalgia. We do this by connecting them through their memories. DYR helps users create and share memories with a nostalgic community, along with their friends, family and the world.
We are proud to be based in Miami, FL, and proud to have been named a Launch Pad Miami-Venture Hive company.
- DoYouRemember is all about our love for nostalgia. All submissions, including images, videos, titles, descriptions and comments should relate to the past.
- DoYouRemember supports our friends who earn their living through buying and selling products and services relating to all that’s retro. Users may not, however, post a memory and enter a comment that’s commercial in nature, except where specifically designated. Neither memories nor comments may include a phone number, address, URL or link within images, descriptions, videos, titles or comments.
- All comments must be in good taste.
- Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in your submission being flagged.A user that is flagged three times will be suspended from DoYouRemember for 30 days. Further non-compliance may result in permanent revocation of user privileges.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Michael Gitter, President of Do You Remember, and we talked about how the site came about and other cool things you can do on the website as well as the soon to be launched chat room where you can explore the past and talk about things you can remember with other users and see results in real time.
