Managers can now sign up, draft a team and win their league championship from their iOS and Android device thanks to new technology incorporated by Bignoggins Production, Loki Studios and the Yahoo! Sports mobile team. The app also now features mock drafting, to help fans prepare and get an edge on the competition.
And starting with football, for the first time ever, all of Yahoo! Sports Fantasy games will live under one mobile roof – the Yahoo! Sports Fantasy app – including basketball, hockey and baseball.
Yahoo! Fantasy is now faster and easier to use with the complete end-to-end fantasy experience available on every screen. We’ve even added free notifications so you’ll always be up to the minute while you’re out and about.
Draft day is the most important date for any fantasy football player, so we’ve built in mock drafting to help you prepare and get an edge on the competition. Not into football? Basketball, hockey and baseball are on the way, too! All of our Fantasy games will now live under one mobile roof — that’s why we renamed it the Yahoo! Fantasy Sports app.
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE
Yahoo! Sports and Buffalo Wild Wings today announced the first ever “Buffalo Wild Wings and Yahoo! Fantasy Football National Draft Day” on August 24– a nationwide draft party and celebration of fantasy football.
Here’s how it works: On the 8/24, Yahoo! Fantasy Football managers can go to any local Buffalo Wild Wings to get draft advice, some free swag, and draft their Fantasy Football teams. Leagues will receive draft kits that include coupons for $100 in free BWW food, a championship brag flag and t-shirts. Yahoo! Fantasy Football experts Brad “Big Noise” Evans and Andy Behrens will be on hand in Dallas or Minneapolis to offer advice. Users can also join along online, as the entire day will be hosted by Fantasy Football experts Brandon Funston and Kay Adams from the Yahoo! Sports studio, and streamed to every Buffalo Wild Wings location as well as to Yahoo! Sports’ 50 million sports users from 12-2 PM, CST.
